Hi, my name is Jack Robinson, and currently I am studying in Fareham College on the IT gaming and computing level 3, and now we are starting to look at games and how they work, developed, and how people revise them
When I finish this current course, I am hoping to get a full time job in the IT hardware industry, as this course will help with my references and knowledge towards this area
I don’t play a lot of games, I don’t even play games on the web (Flash Games), but when I do, it’s currently on the Xbox 360 platform, but I play games such as,
· Counter Strike Source (PC)
· Call of Duty series (Xbox 360)
Modern warfare
Mdern warfare 2
Back ops
Back ops 2
· Grand Theft Auto series (PC)
Vice city
San Andreas
I'm also into the saw series and James bond series on Xbox 360, I play PS3, but I’m not a big gamer but I have owned selection of gaming platforms such as
· Nintendo (N64, Wii, Wii-U, Game boy)
· Sony (Play station 2 and 3)
· PC
· Xbox 360
My earliest gaming memory has got to be on the Nintendo 64 playing the game Zelda or even James Bond 007, I used to play these games with my dad and he would help me complete the levels as I was at a young age, but one of the best game's was Mario 64, but in my opinion I really dislike the Wii console, just because it’s more of a family game where people is involved and involves physical enjoyment, rather than holding a controller and relaxing
I have tried various mods, especially on the Xbox 360, where I have performed a j-tag mod, flashing of disk drives, modding in game play on call of duty 4 and modern warfare 2, I have created a laser mod on various guns and played them online with a hidden IP, so cannot be 'banned' or tracked, and they all had their problems but I managed to overcome them with help of my friends and the internet, a lot of modding is trial and error
